Update: TONI WON!
Thanks to all who participated!
I LOVE Kumon First Step Workbooks! They actually say that their products, "allow parents and children to share meaningful playtime together." It doesn't get any better than that! My current favorite is "Let's Cut Paper!," which you can find here or...you can win for FREE simply by leaving a comment below (www.random.org will help me determine the winner)!
Landon is at the age where scissors are just as fun as paint or play-doh, so he was super excited when I pulled the workbook and fun, rounded-tip scissors (of his very own!!) out of a mystery bag for Special Time yesterday. The book progressively teaches your child how to hold their scissors correctly, how to cut straight lines, curved lines, and then how to change directions while cutting. The best thing is that as your kiddo masters a skill, he or she also creates a really neat masterpiece, as Landon called it.
Wanna win one?! Ready...set....GO!
Winner will be announced Saturday morning (8/7).

'Masterpiece' indeed! What a fun idea. I believe your sister, Sarah, always said she was no good with scissors. Maybe this would have helped her. Maybe it still would...
I would love to win a workbook. I have a 25 month old, and this would be fun to start with. Thanks for sharing!
My three-year-old guy would love this!
What a great idea! My 3 year old loves scissors and this we be perfect to help him!
Oh yes - love scissors and a lot less messy than playdough and paint right? lol!

What a fabulous idea! We would love to have the playtime together in this way!
Leslie, where can we buy these - in case a certain soon to be 4 year old needs a few for his birthday? I've never seen them in the store, but then my baby is 27..... however, I have a few grandkids who might love these tucked into birthday gifts, or Easter baskets, or stockings...
Hi, Mama! You can get these at Barnes and Noble...just another excuse to visit one of your favorite stores! ;)
This would help getting my three yo started with scissors.
My four year old would love this book! Anything with scissors makes him happy!

My kids are just old enough to find this on the babyish side of things, BUT it's great to keep in mind for my sister!
I tried to send you an email in response to your comment on my post, but I couldn't tell if it went through. It basically said: Yes, you can use that post, and feel free to edit as you see fit!
My 4 year old son loves to cut-- it would be much better if he had a little book to follow instead of asking me for scrap paper all the time. :)
My 3 year old is into drawing airplanes right now. I know he would have lots of fun cutting paper too. Thanks for the chance.
blessings,
Toni
we've recently been working on cutting and I think I would benefit from having instructions to help Caleb and he would love it if he could make a rocket ship.
My little one is a little too little, but it would be nice for next year.
Been eyeing these at Barnes and Noble.:)
